Buffalo TVB Closes July 1, 2015

Good News for Drivers: No More "Plea or Try" in Buffalo
Buffalo’s move away from the TVB system gives drivers ticketed in Buffalo the same opportunity for plea bargaining that drivers have when ticketed in most other parts of the state. New York City and Rochester still have the TVB system that forces drivers to either plead guilty or have a trial but does not offer any reductions via plea bargaining.
Plea Bargaining and Reductions of Buffalo Traffic Tickets
The Buffalo Traffic Violations Agency judges will have the same authority to accept plea bargains as the city, town, and village court judges around the state. This is a big change for drivers ticketed in the City of Buffalo who now may seek a reduction of the charges that they face. See Buffalo News
